Empowering Decentralized Global E-Commerce

Start: 2019-02-01 | End: 2019-02-28

ApolloX is a decentralized ecosystem for global e-commerce. It has built an e-commerce protocol to enable real-world e-commerce applications running on the blockchain. This connects buyers and sellers with trust and transparency, without information silo and monopolistic middlemen. With its unique blockchain technology, ApolloX brings benefits to both consumers and sellers. ApolloX uses tokenization and decentralization to replace today’s rent-seeking enterprise with a new model of complete shopping protection, data security and minimal commission. ApolloX believes that with the implementation of their model, e-commerce costs can be reduced by up to 40%. Their goal also is to create an ecosystem that thrives on community. It has its own ERC-20 token (APXT). Instead of relying on an entire company to maintain trust between buyers and sellers, the execution and utilization of ApolloX protocols mean trust will be provided by community consensus. Their centralized equivalent would profit from the success of the transaction, regardless of the damage done to the buyer. ApolloX only allows buyers to access their browsing and purchasing activity. Buyers can even choose not to leave any activity history. By having access to this valuable information, users can voluntarily share their data with service providers on the network to earn rebates or personalized services. ApolloX uses blockchain platform based on Ethereum.

There is nothing much new about this platform and its offering, there are several other platforms which offer the same. The market is slowly and gradually getting saturated. The features of this platform look an average blockchain platform features, nothing very extraordinary and impressive about it. The marketing of this platform though looks good and can do so much more. The minimum transaction amount is very high it can be improved. It has a young team and also lacks experience. They should consider adding more specialized and experienced members in their team.
